Cluster G discusses the visualization of data sets resulting from research processes and the development of reference models for dealing with data from selected areas (for example: digital humanities) or disciplines (arts, science, etc).
Currently, the term "research infrastructures" is in common use. These infrastructures play a key role when undertaking research, because they create, establish, and continually update the object of the research. They have recently become more important particularly in the areas of humanities and cultural studies.
Cluster G works precisely with these digital infrastructures concerning their potential for visualization in different scientific disciplines. The activities of Cluster G are in close relationship to the activities of Clusters H, D and F.
Concrete Activities:
Based on selected data management plans, Cluster G will design workflows for visual data modeling concepts.
